In an interview with "Das Haus", moderator Birgit Schrowange reveals what you are most looking forward to when you come home.
Do you have a favorite place at home?
“In summer my beautifully planted roof terrace. In winter I like to sit in my red velvet armchair in front of the fireplace.”
What style of furnishing do you live?
"A mix of modern and old: mosaic tables, mirrors with a gold look, embroidered blankets and pillows - perfect with my dark parquet."
What was your biggest home purchase?
"A huge, very comfortable sofa to hang out and relax."
Are you a collector or a minimalist?
"Rather a collector."
Where are you hiding chaos?
"In beautiful chests, built-in cupboards and special boxes under my bed."
How often do you decorate?
“At least twice a year. The apartment always gets a new face."
How do you describe your dream home?
“It has high ceilings with a cozy eat-in kitchen as the center of the house. Adjacent: an enchanted garden with old trees."
Who would you like to live with in a shared apartment?
"I live with my 10-year-old son and hope that it stays that way for at least another ten years."
What are you looking forward to when you get home?
"For dinner with my son - on one of my favorite pieces, an old wooden dining table."
What scents do you associate with your home?
"In summer it smells of herbs, lavender, lemon - and in winter of beech wood burned in the fireplace."
If an unannounced visit rings, what can you expect?
"Sometimes chaos, always a good glass of wine and something to eat, because my fridge is always full."
