What style of furnishing do you live?
A combination of stylish, modern and very old furniture, complemented by many exotic souvenirs from distant countries.
Do you have a favorite place at home?
My cozy armchair in front of the fireplace. What does your dream house look like? I live in my dream house - an older building, supplemented by a modern, somewhat playful addition.
Who would you like to live with in a shared apartment?
With Angela Merkel and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, because they are rarely at home.
What are you looking forward to when you get home?
On my own bed.
Which furnishings do you have a special relationship with?
My Indian Bollywood Swing - an original hand-carved piece of cashmere that stood in a palace there and came to me under the most difficult circumstances.
How often do you decorate?
I keep decorating.
What do you particularly like about your house?
The spacious layout and that each room has its own individual character.
Which piece of furniture could you never part with?
From my antique carousel rocking horse.
Which do-it-yourself qualities do you have?
Unfortunately none at all.
Are you a collector or a minimalist?
I'm more of a collector.
If an unannounced visit rings, what can you expect?
A cozy evening in front of the fireplace with a good glass of red wine.
Helmut Zierl is one of the best-known German actors. His career began in 1975 at the theater, the Landesbühne Hannover. Since 1982 he has played many popular TV productions and series, including "Tatort", "Traumschiff", "Rosamunde Pilcher" films and the ZDF series "Inga Lindström" and "Katie Fforde". He was last seen in the cinema in "Kokowääh 2" and "Honey in the Head". He lives with his sons and girlfriend in a house near Hamburg.
