Step 1
To ensure that the table fits exactly where you want it, first determine the dimensions.
In the example, the table has the dimensions 90 x 66 x 66 cm and is approximately 30 cm high.
Saw one of the boards into six smaller and smaller pieces (90 cm, 80 cm, 60 cm, 40 cm, 20 cm and 10 cm) and then lay them one behind the other so that the shape of a triangle is recognizable. Then draw the exact dimensions of the balcony corner using an angle ruler so that a right-angled triangle with two sides of equal length is created.

2nd step
Now cut the boards to the exact length along the previously drawn line using a jigsaw, for example with the PST 10.8 LI cordless multi-saw from Bosch. Then saw both strips for the substructure on which the boards are to be fixed. To do this, place the crossbar at a distance from the edge of one side of the triangle, mark the dimensions and saw off at an angle so that the crossbar fits into the angle of the triangle.
Attention: When working with the multisaw it is recommended to wear work gloves for safety.

3rd step
Before screwing together, sand the cut edges of all sawn parts thoroughly.
The handy multi-sander PSM Primo from Bosch is suitable for this.

4th step
Now the sawn boards have to be attached to the slats of the substructure. To do this, place the boards cut in step 1 into their triangular shape and screw the pre-sawn slats to the two sides of the triangle with the same length using eleven wood screws (a total of 22 screws per table surface). So that the wood does not tear out, first pre-drill the holes for the screws, for example with the drill attachment for the Ixo cordless screwdriver from Bosch. Then screw in the screws with the Ixo. Finally, to make the balcony table weatherproof, impregnate with a weatherproof wood glaze.
Note: Repeat steps one to four for the lower table level as well, so that two identical triangular table tops are created.

5th step
While the weather protection glaze dries (please note the manufacturer's information), it goes to the suspension. Use a multi saw and a hacksaw to saw through the pipe so that three equally long pieces of 30 cm are created. These serve as spacers between the two table tops.

6th step
In the last step, make the suspension for the balcony table on the railing. Use the Ixo drill attachment to drill three holes per table top, i.e. one in each corner. The holes should be adjusted to the thickness of the nylon tape (maximum 5 mm diameter). Now cut the rope into three pieces of equal length. Then thread the ropes through the holes in the table tops and the spacers between them and fix them both on the underside of the lower plate and above the upper plate. Now tie the three upper ends of the ropes to the balcony railing with an adjusting ring, and the space-saving balcony table is ready for mild summer evenings. Now pure relaxation is the order of the day: sunglasses on and enjoying your favorite novel.
