You need:

Ingredients for 0.7 liters

½ vanilla pod
500 ml white wine (e.g. Riesling)
150 ml apple juice
80 ml sea buckthorn sauce
1 lemon and orange peel each
2 tablespoons of sugar
mild honey at will

How to do it:

  1. Halve the vanilla pod and slit lengthways. Put the wine in a saucepan with the apple juice, the sea buckthorn sauce, vanilla bean and pulp, lemon and orange peel and the sugar.
  2. Place the mixture on the stove and heat. Remove the spices and aromatics with a slotted spoon. Season the mulled wine with honey as you like and serve it hot in glasses.

Tip: So that you can serve the mulled wine as hot as possible, we recommend preheating the glasses or cups.
