Step-by-step instructions

Step 1

Transfer the template for the body to the white cardboard and for the legs to the black cardboard and then cut it out. Punch the holes according to the drawing with the punch pliers (the smaller holes are for the cord).

Finally, attach the legs to the body with staples. Make sure that it is not too tight so that the legs can still move.

step 2

Crochet an approx. 50 cm long chain stitch chain with felt wool and stick it in a spiral shape on the sheep's body as well as over the staple buttons. The glue should not come too close to the staples.

The last piece is the tail of the sheep.

Let the last piece stand as a tail. If it is too long, open it up and cut it off.

Connect five chain stitches into a ring with felt wool. Then crochet two chain stitches (LM) and close with a slip stitch (KM) in the beginning of the ring. Then bind off, sew on the wool of the body and paint eyes on the head.

From behind, pull a short piece of cord through the two outer legs and tie it together. Then run a piece about 20 centimeters long through the two inner legs.

Crochet the cloverleaf and then glue on.

For the shamrock:

into a magic loop:

* 4 stitches (LM), 3 double treble crochets (dtr), 4 stitches (LM) crochet a slip stitch (KM) **

Repeat three more times from * to **, crochet 14 running stitches, then crochet a single stitch (Fm) in each running stitch (results in style), end with chain stitch (KM) on cloverleaf and bind off.

Finally, glue the finished clover leaf to the sheep.

For the fine line with cloverleaf, simply crochet a chain of any length instead of the 14 running stitches and attach it to the leg loops. Knot first on the loop of the outer legs, then on the loop of the inner legs. It can take some time until the legs can be optimally moved. It is best to change the distance between the loops.

For the hanging loop, crochet a chain stitch chain and sew it to the body with a needle, knot with a loop at the top.
