They tinkered with an innovative idea for a vertical garden to build up and grow themselves. The concept: the walk-in pavilion can be planted with vegetables and herbs as desired. Travel tip: Parisian plant pioneers

If you are still looking for inspiration for your personal urban jungle, you should consider a trip to France. The French start-up Sous Les Fraises (“under the strawberries”) is conquering the roofs of the metropolis of Paris with urban gardens. Their green oases are more than just beautiful to look at: fruits and vegetables are grown in the self-sufficient ecosystems and then sold to local restaurants.
