The idea of ​​the artisan portals is simple: You post a job on the Internet and choose from those who register. For service providers, these portals represent an opportunity to fill times with weak order volumes - even if the competition is big for them and the profits to be achieved are rather small. It is not uncommon for the craftsman with the cheapest offer to be selected. Shortly after the creation of the portals, most providers tried to undercut themselves in price. The following information is important for the tender:

• Where is the object located?
• How big is the area?

Don't just describe the order in words, but if possible also upload photos and, if necessary, technical drawings - this greatly simplifies the calculation of potential contractors. If you would like certain devices or materials to be installed, you should mention them with their exact designation in the tender and, if possible, include a link to the manufacturer's product description.

Are there warranty claims?

As a contract is also created for orders placed on the Internet, you as the client have warranty and damage claims against the craftsman if the work has not been carried out properly. Insist that you receive an invoice and do not pay the craftsman in cash. Because only an official invoice with VAT shows that it is not illegal work.

What to do if there are defects?

If there is a defect, the client can request improvement. To do this, set the contractual partner a deadline for elimination.
