What do we expect from the new Apple Watch?

Making it a complete, independent and self-sufficient device would be much more interesting than making it depend solely and exclusively on the company's flagship. We miss the speed of iOS 9 and quick access to the content that interests us, as well as more advanced Internet access. A web browser perhaps?

More Complications

No, we don't want to be made to jump fences to buy the Apple Watch, if not for the company to develop more "Widgets" for the main screen, something he has called "Complications". Since access to information is slow, the minimum to reduce the workload on the watch is to make the information accessible and visible next to the time.

If you're an Apple Watch user you've probably wasted a lot of time searching for "Complications" for your smartwatch, but the truth is that there aren't many of them, let alone useful ones. Why can't I see my heart rate for the last 30 minutes in a widget? Or whatever information I want Personally, I like the base, but there is still a lot of development to be done.

More "watch faces" or "spheres"

Okay, Apple has always limited the customization of iOS devices to some extent, but the Apple Watch thing is unreasonable. A wearable like this watch is visible every day, and the fact of not being able to customize it, like Android Wear, is a very negative point. It doesn't always go with our personality, because if you have several straps and change them from time to time, you can't also give the operating system the image you want.

Besides Complications, why can't I personalize my Apple Watch more? I'm sure many Watch owners will agree with me that we want more "spheres" for the main window And if Apple doesn't want to design them, at least create a store for developers to do it.

More iOS and less watchOS

It was hard for me to get used to watchOS, since the way to access apps is radically different from iOS We have of a main screen with circles, thanks to which we access our installed applications, but the truth is that there is still a lot to improve in this. In the end I chose to surround the clock application with the ones I use the most, since otherwise it is impossible to quickly access what I want.

A better organization system, either by folders like in iOS or a better structure of circles, using separators or similar, would be ideal for keeping apps organized on Apple Watch.

It wouldn't hurt to be able to configure certain iPhone settings on Apple Watch, such as the Wi-Fi network it connects to, the data mode and a long etcetera that it is not necessary to detail, since we all know that a proper "Settings" menu would solve it.

And on an aesthetic level?

Apple knows its customers well and we can be sure that will make a second version of the Apple Watch much more "appealing" visually than the clock. In the same way that the iPhone 6s evolved from the first iPhone, the Apple Watch will improve like fine wine, over time.

At the moment the aesthetics, the variety of straps and the finishes are very good, but we must let Apple do what it does well: innovate and surprise us.
