Windows 8 is coming to an end. Microsoft will end support for this operating system tomorrow. Therefore, if you are using this version of the operating system you should upgrade immediately.
Redmond released Windows 8.1 as a solution to all the problems with the first version and is the only one that maintains support until 2018 or 2023, depending on whether it is standard or extended support.
Windows 8 users can upgrade to Windows 8.1 or even Windows 10 for free without any problem. Of course, apparently they will have to go through Windows 8.1 first. Microsoft's new operating system is supported until 2025.
The good news is that only a few users are still using Windows 8, as most have upgraded to the new Windows 8.1. Theoretically only 2% of computers worldwide are still running Windows 8.

Windows 8 runs out of updates
Windows 8 end of support tomorrow, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 means that Microsoft will no longer release updates of any kind to this system. Therefore, it is even vulnerable to possible security attacks.
Tomorrow will be the last time Windows 8 users will see an update through Windows Update. It is likely that those from Redmond will also start notifying users to update as soon as possible since they are left without support and have a vulnerable system. Another option is to advise about upgrading to Windows 10 for free, which is also possible.
Do you still have Windows 8?
