The Xiaomi Mi5 is now official. The new flagship of the Chinese brand is about to be presented, but it can already be seen in some Asian stores.
Gearbest has leaked all the specifications of the new terminal that can be purchased online next week.
The new Xiaomi Mi5 would have a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (leaving the pixel density in 565dpi), Corning Gorilla Glass 4 anti-scratch protection and 2.5D technology, that is, slightly curved glass.
Potentially it would incorporate the latest Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 820 with quad cores at 1.8Ghz, accompanied by2GB/4GB RAM memory.
It will also feature a 16-megapixel camera with elements on the lens, f/2.2 focus and 4K video recording, plus a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In storage it will have 16GB/64GB not expandable by cards.
The terminal is 4G (without 800Mhz band), it has a fingerprint sensor, NFC connectivity, WiFi 802.11a/b/ g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, among others.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi5 will carry a 3600mAh battery and Android 5.1 under the customization layer MIUI 7.1.
Xiaomi Mi5: available in two versions
The new Xiaomi Mi5, as we see, will be available in two versionsOne with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage at a price of around 575 euros , while the other has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with a price of 670 euros.
In addition, it will be available in black, white and gold colors on all models.
