Facebook wants to boost its calling service anyway. Despite introducing calls into the WhatsApp app, you also want Facebook Messenger users to use this feature.

At the moment the tab is very simple, showing the calls we have made and a search engine to initiate new calls to contacts that have the app installed. The pity of it all is that we don't see missed calls or the calls we make that remain as missed calls.
In addition, Facebook Messenger goes one step further than WhatsApp, as it allows you to make video calls. And it certainly works much better than WhatsApp calls, promising HD quality.
We must not forget that we are talking about Facebook Messenger, an instant messaging app that is already necessary to use Facebook chat. It seems that Mark Zuckerberg wants to promote this app a lot and that he already leads with WhatsApp.
