A few days ago we told you about the new indications that were in WhatsApp that do nothing more than affirm that the sending of documents will be a reality very soon. Today we know that WhatsApp will have new icons for documents.
As we say, the other day we learned about the existence of a folder called WhatsApp Document, which supposedly should store the documents sent through of this platform. Earlier today a Reddit user has uploaded the supposed icons of those documents.
Office and PDF documents
Among the new things we know from the screenshots is that WhatsApp will allow you to share Office documents, that is, Word documents (.doc), spreadsheets (.xls), and Powerpoint presentations (.ppt), as well as PDF files and other as yet unknown files.
The icons that we see correspond to the applications of Google Docs,so it is quite possible that to open the documents that you see above We comment on the use of Google's office tools.
In addition to that, we can also observe the new icon that would be in the share menu in the chat with our contact and that would be would place right next to share location, photos, etc.
As we already mentioned on occasion, WhatsApp's new commitment to Google services for its platform is nothing new since for a few months it has already been possible to backup WhatsApp to the Google Drive cloud.
For now we will have to wait to find out in which version they will officially launch support for sending documents through WhatsApp, although from what we have seen it seems that they will arrive very soon.
