If you have a profile on Twitter you should bear in mind that it is highly recommended to make a series of adjustments so that your account on the social network work well. That's why today we're going to show you at least 5 adjustments you should make on Twitter.
Enable login verification
A recent feature that Twitter has introduced is the login verification. This utility will allow you to log in more securely on locations other than your computer.
Our recommendation is that you activate it if you are going to log in to Twitter away from home, so that you will be asked for a code that will arrive on the phone and that is the one you must fill in to be able to log in correctly.

To activate this option go to the Twitter configuration menu, Security and privacy section and security section. You must first enter a valid phone number in order to activate this method.
Disable tweet location
Our privacy is increasingly in question and more and more applications ask you, among other things, your location. Activate Twitter defaults to the location you write from, although luckily you can turn it off.

You can find this option in Twitter settings/Security and privacy and section “tweet locations”.
Disable applications
Occasionally you need an account to register or log in to a certain service. Although many let you register through your Facebook or Gmail account, Twitter is also another option.

Through the configuration of the social network Twitter and Applications section, you will be able to find those services that have access to your Twitter account. It's always good to look at the list of applications at least once a month because if you unsubscribe from any service you should also apply on Twitter.
Disable Promoted Content
Have you noticed that from time to time promoted tweets especially on the mobile version of Twitter? In general, it doesn't bother you because you can skip them without any problem, but you can disable it from the Twitter website.

If you access the settings of the social network and go to the security and privacy section, you will see that far down you will see a box called “promoted content”, that is activated by default and that you can disable.
Disable automatic video playback
Although this feature is present in the version of Twitter for the web, it is especially important on mobile since it will help you save megabytes if you browse with a data connection.
Basically, this functionality consists of the fact that the videos and other reproducible content are reproduced alone, with the consequent expense of megabytes that this entails. On the web you can deactivate this option through the Twitter settings, Account section and content option.

In the mobile version if it is important to deactivate it and you will be able to access it from the configuration/data. There you will see an option called “automatic video playback” that you can deactivate or modify depending on how you want the content to be played, whether with data or Wi-Fi.

Have you made these settings with your Twitter account?
