Twitter makes improvements to the web version. From now on we will see that when clicking on a tweet or image on the social network will open on the same page.
Until now, every time we clicked a tweet opened in the same window, redirecting us to it. That made us lose the scroll we had done on the timeline when we went back, that is, which tweet we had been reading.
Also, the images opened separately. The change causes clicking on both a tweet and its image to open the full tweet. But not on another page but on the same page as a pop up or pop-up window.
If we close the tweet we return to where we were, to the timeline, to the same position. A very simple but significant change to improve the usability of Twitter.
Only on the web version of Twitter
This change is currently only in the web version of Twitter, but it wouldn't be surprising if it also reached themobile apps to unify the experience.
This means the end of the tweet pages, although they still have a web address, but they open as a pop-up window.
Twitter is incorporating this change to all users of the social network in the web version, so you will soon see how pressing on a tweet or image does not redirect you to a separate website, but the tweet opens as a pop-up window, something that you will surely appreciate as a user of the social network of the blue bird
