If among your applications you have Facebook Messenger and you don't want to establish contact with any of your Facebook friends through chat, you can block it. If you don't know how to do it, we're going to show you how to block a contact on Facebook Messenger.
There's nothing more annoying than having a contact you don't like and see your last connection or even whether or not you're writing a message within the chat. But it is possible to block all those people from bothering you anymore.
Block a person
To block a person from your Facebook Messenger chat, follow these steps:
1. Open the Facebook Messenger application and go to the contact list,which in my case is the third tab with the list icon.
two. Scroll down just where all the contacts are and you will see that to the right will be the phone icon and three dots. Click on these dots and choose theoption “view profile”.
3. When you are inside the profile of the person you want to block, just go back to the three dots that appear on the right and click on the option called “block”. You will see that a confirmation message appears that you will have to accept to permanently block this person.
With these simple steps within Facebook Messenger, that contact will no longer bother you with any message or anything else. That person will not know that you have blocked them because when they send you messages it will simply appear as if they have been sent but not read.
