New Scam Spreads on the Internet. It is a message in a pop-up window that can appear on our smartphone or any other device and promises 500 euros at Primark.
This is not the first time Primark-related scams have appeared. On this occasion, we are talking about a 500 euro bonus on a card that can be redeemed at Primarkduring sales.
To do this we would only have to participate in the survey and there would be 8 promo gift cards. Even the message goes straight ensuring that we have been chosen at random.
“Card that can be redeemed at PRIMARK Sales! Win €500 You have been randomly selected for a special offer! Help us in the survey.”
Evidently it is another scam and if we click on the "Participate" link we will surely access a survey in which we are asked for our data. They can ask us for personal data to send us spam or advertising or even bank to steal our money.
Also, it is possible that it directly downloads malware and infects our computer. Specifically, the Telematic Crimes Group of the Civil Guard points out that this pop-up window appears on our smartphone, so it would go to the vast majority of mobile users.
As we say, it's not something related to Primark and there really are scammers behind this message. Therefore, if we see any message of this type, we should not share it or participate in the survey to access the supposed 500-euro bonus from Primark or other store chains.
