If we are customers of Movistar and we have a landline phone, by default, we will have the free service of answering activated. Of course, despite the fact that having it activated is free, checking the messages will cost us 6.05 cents.

Until 2014, the Telefónica operator did not charge for consulting the automatic answering service. This has changed, and you can charge us up to 2.42 euros per month for consulting it. Every time we access the answering machine it charges us 6.05 cents, although we can check all the messages we want.

For many users the answering service can be useless in these times and, therefore, downloading the Movistar answering machine on the landline can be a good idea to avoid unnecessary costs, or for any other reason reason.

If you have copper (ADSL):

1. To unsubscribe, call 1004 and say: "unsubscribe from answering machine"
2. To register your mailbox, dial the keys 10 on your telephone

If you have fiber:

1. To unsubscribe, call 1004 and say: "unsubscribe from answering machine"
2. To register your mailbox, dial 10 for forwarding if no answer and 9998 for forwarding if busy.
