Facebook prepare changes. One of them is the possibility of adding a biography and featured photos These two new data will appear publicly so that those who haven't added us as friends can learn more about us.
On both the mobile app and the web version users can view and add a biography of up to 100 characters plus up to 5 featured photos.
Thanks to this new biography or presentation we can show who we are in 100 characters in order to be easily identified by other Facebook users.
Featured photos also allow users of the social network to see more photos in addition to the profile photo and cover photo. In these photos we would show representative images as well as in the text of the biography or presentation.
All users will be able to see both the presentation and the featured photos, whether they are our friends or not. By default, and without the possibility of changing the permissions, this is data that will be seen publicly, that is, any Facebook user.
It remains to be seen if the idea convinces users and they begin to fill out their presentation and show featured photos. Surely new creatives will emerge as it happened with the cover photos.
