Facebook hides a multitude of settings that many of us are unaware exist and that can sometimes be very useful, such as the one we are going to show you below. At the end of this post you will know how to disable live video suggestions on Facebook.
With the new trend of live video there is a Facebook setting on by default that brings up different suggestions of people who are currently broadcasting, something you can thankfully turn off if it bothers you.
Disable suggestions easily
To be able to disable live video suggestions on Facebook you have to follow a few simple steps, they are as follows:
- Access your Facebook account settings through the arrow at the top right of Facebook. You will see that a drop-down list opens and there you will have to click on “settings”.
- In the different sections of the left column, select the option "notifications", enter "on Facebook" and just inside look for the option "live videos".
- Open the dropdown and select the option “suggestions disabled”.
It is necessary to clarify that it is not the same if you choose the option "all deactivated", something that will disable the notifications of the videos in direct and also the suggestions, so to remove only the suggestions you must activate the option commented in the last point.
As you will see in just 2 minutes you will have this option deactivated and you should already see more on your Facebook wall suggestions to videos that are broadcasting that may be of interest to you.
