Facebook changed a few weeks ago the possibility of knowing in a simple way if someone has changed or not any of their publications. Now it's a bit more complicated, so we're going to show you how to know if a Facebook post has been edited.
In the past it was possible to know it in a very simple and visual way since if someone modified any of your text on Facebook you could see that it was "edited" just below the text. Now in a new update that option has been removed.
The new option is called “view history of editions”
Once the "edited" option that appeared just below the posts and would let you know if the post had been modified or not, has been removed, there is a new, more complicated way since now you will have a new option called “view edit history”.
Now it doesn't show directly if something has been edited but you would have to go post by post to find out if it has been modified or not, depending on whether the option “view edit history” appears or not.
Therefore, to find out if a Facebook post has been edited, do the following:
- Enter any post from any of your contacts on the social network and click on the arrow that appears just to the right of the contact's name.
- In the new menu the option “More options” will appear, if so click on it and you will see“view edit history”.

There you can enter and know that the person who published the post on their Facebook has changed

You should know that if "more options" is not there, it means that the person has not made any changes to the publication. As you can see, now it is more complicated to know the possibility of knowing if someone has changed the text or any other aspect of said Facebook publication.
What do you think about Facebook changing this parameter?
