This speaker will be officially unveiled one day after Samsung's Unpacked event on February 11, 2020.
The new Galaxy Home Mini has a curious appearance, as it is small and spherical. Features 4 button tops and a flat base. The grille that covers the entire exterior of the smart speaker is rigid and black.
Samsung's speakerphone is a collaboration with AKG, something common, since the headphones that are included in the boxes of smartphones from Samsung are AKG.
The fact that the Galaxy Home Mini is signed by AKG gives us an idea that sound is still very important for Samsung technology and even more so when it comes to a smart speaker.
The bad, or the good, depending on how you look at it, of this smart speaker is that it will bring Bixby as standard. It is the intelligent assistant of Samsung. This makes us wonder if there are really enough users worldwide interested in it, since being a company specialized in mobile telephony, the "appropriate" thing would have been to bring the Galaxy Home Mini to the market with Alexa or Google Assistant.
We know when Samsung's Galaxy Home Mini will hit the market. The speaker will make its star appearance on February 12, a day after Unpacked where we will see the new Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra and S20+ 5G range.
At the moment it will only reach North Korea, but it is not ruled out that Samsung's smart speaker will also reach Europe in the coming months. Regarding its price, it will cost 99,000 won, which in exchange is approximately 75 euros.
