The Poco X2 is official, the successor to the well-known Pocophone F1, but with very notable differences from what we would expect and know thanks to its specifications, which are very similar to a terminal that has already been available on the market for a long time.
The Pocophone F1 surprised at the time for its high-end features and its attractive price, allowing users to have a powerful smartphone at a very low cost, something that many thought would happen with his successor, but that ultimately has not been the case.
The new Poco X2 that was confirmed a few days ago is by no means a high-end smartphone, but very similar to Xiaomi's Redmi K30even down to the design which, except for a few details, would be hard to distinguish if both devices were put in our hands.
We could rather classify the Poco X2 as a premium mid-range phone and that has very interesting details, such as the presence of a 120 Hz screen, something that the OnePlus 7T Pro already has, for example, or its high-capacity battery with fast charging.
In order for you to know all the details of the new Poco X2, we leave you below with the list of technical characteristics:
- Display: 6.7 inches with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,800 pixels at 120 Hz.
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.
- RAM memory: 6/8 GB.
- Internal storage: 64, 128 and 256 GB.
- Rear camera: 64 MP + 2 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP.
- Front camera: dual 20 + 2 MP.
- Connectivity: WiFi, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth, etc.
- Battery: 4,500 mAh with 27W fast charge.
- Operating system: Android 10 with MIUI customization.
To highlight the presence of a quadruple main camera located in the central rear part of the device in vertical format, just like the one on the Redmi K30. In detail we find 64 MP f/1.89 lenses, the 2 MP macro with f/2.4 aperture, the 8 MP wide angle with f/2.2 and the 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The dual front camera is not in a notch, but in Poco they have decided to embed it in the screen as we have already seen in others smartphones, in this case they have opted for the right side. This lens has a 20 + 2 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
You will not lack RAM or internal storage, as the available options are quite powerful and more than enough for the needs of any user. This also means that there will be several modalities of the Poco X2 available with different prices.
In addition, users will enjoy a large capacity battery; that of the Poco X2 has 4,500 mAh and offers a fast charge of 27W, so the charging time is drastically reduced.
By the way, if you are looking for the fingerprint reader you should know that it is located on one of the sides of the Poco X2, On this occasion, it has been decided to remove it from the rear to give a greater role to the configuration of the main camera.
