Fruit of the collaboration between Verizon and Motorola a very powerful Android phone has been presented today. This is the Motorola Droid Turbo that comes to compete with the highest-end ones on the market.
Its main asset is its power and the Android operating system completely clean and without any customization. Unfortunately we will not be able to enjoy it in Europe since will only be released exclusively in the United States with the operator Verizon.
Motorola Droid Turbo Technical Features
The Motorola Droid Turbo features a 5.2-inch display that has a Quad HD resolution, that is, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Unlike other terminals, this one does not jump to the increasingly common 5.5 inches, but rather stays in the middle ground.
Inside we will find plenty of power with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 that works at a frequency of 2.7 Ghz, in addition to the GPU Adreno 420. It is accompanied by a 3 Gb RAM memory and an internal storage of 32 and 64 Gb.
We also found two cameras, the rear one is 21 megapixel with double LED flash and 4K video recording. The front is 2 megapixels and is capable of filming video in 1080p resolution.
The connectivity that we will find is Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. As an operating system it will have Android 4.4 KitKat and of course it will be safe to update to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Without a doubt what will stand out the most is its large 3,900 mAh battery, although we will have to see how it behaves on a day-to-day basis. It will be a phone resistant to splashes of water.
Price and availability
We will be left with the desire to see this terminal in Europe. In the United States, the 32 Gb model will go on sale for $199.99 and the 64 Gb version for $249.99, both with a contract with the operator Verizon.
