Even so, Instagram will continue to compress the photos and crop them to leave them in square photos This means that we will always lose part of the photograph, which we will have to select previously. Then Instagram will take care of compressing the image and leaving it at a size of 1080x1080.
Remember that 1080x1080 is similar to Full HD quality, although it is not exactly this, since the format is square. Of course, it is high resolution and suitable for most devices.
