Want a new Apple iMac 4K? Well, make sure it doesn't break and forget about expanding your hardware. The new Apple computer seems to have some great specs, but it's really complicated to repair or upgrade.
Again iFixit has demonstrated and reviewed the iMac 4K and it has resulted in it being difficult to repair because of the way it is mounted. So if it breaks, you may as well need a new one rather than a repair.

First of all, the RAM is soldered to the board, so it's impossible for us to try to expand it. We also found out that Apple's rival, Samsung, is the manufacturer of these RAM models.
We also can't overlook that the processor is also soldered on the motherboard amazingly. If this or the RAM breaks we already need a new motherboard.
On the other hand, the Retina display is so glued to the glass that it will be difficult to repair if it is break.
Another important detail discovered is that the Fusion Drive storage is reduced from 128GB to 24GB for the SSD part, which is which brings speed. Apple saving costs for the user and without showing it, as we see.

Seeing all this, iFixit has scored the iMac 4K a one out of ten points for repair, leaving it as a practically irreparable.
Therefore, if we want a iMac 4K we must take into account that it will be very difficult to repair it if it breaks and, of course, we we have to forget about upgrading your hardware.
