A worrying fact was discovered very recently and that is that apparently all court cases in Spain were exposed due to a computer error, a very serious failure that affected one of the Government Ministries and that has finally been corrected.
That is, any user who accessed the telematics system of the Ministry of Justice could view a series of folders that in reality should not be where you could see all the judicial cases of all the Spanish lawyers.
Error is a crime
The discovered error is a crime because it is illegal for someone to access any cause without permission, that is why this case is so serious. So much so that it could even mean the resignation of the Minister of Justice himself.
But everything is more serious than this since it seems that the bug existed from the beginning since the Lexnet system, which is the system that controls all this, would have flaws in its design that were never corrected and also has never worked quite right.
Fortunately, the error has been fixed and the system managers themselves soon identified the vulnerability that allowed access to all this confidential and sensitive content, so they soon remedied it and everything has returned to normal.

But you may wonder, what caused this failure? According to the Ministry of Justice itself, which finally released a statement detailing what happened, it was a system update that caused all those folders to be exposed.
In any case, an investigation has been opened to clarify in detail what happened and the case has even reached the Congress of Deputies through various questions to demand answers about what happened.
As you can see, no system is infallible, not even this one that has caused all the judicial cases in Spain to be exposed due to an error after an update to a new version.
