Nokia has presented its novelties for 2020, those that could not be presented at the end of February during the MWC 2020 in Barcelona. Among all of them we see the new Nokia 5310 and we know its specifications and its price.
With this model of mobile it is as if we were going back to the 2000s since it includes an MP3 player and FM radio. In other words, it is the new generation of the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music launched at the end of 2006.
A very basic mobile phone, so much so that does not have 4G, no selfie camera, no great resolution on its screen, The screen is not touch screen, nor is it resistant to water and dust, nor is it a large battery, nor is it an operating system like Android to install apps, etc.
It is a mobile, as our grandparents would say, "to call". Continuing with the Nokia 5310 that Nokia has launched today, we see that it has physical keyboard and some other curiosity:
- Screen: 2.4-inch with QVGA resolution.
- Processor: MT6260A.
- RAM memory: 8 MB.
- Internal storage: 16 MB and allows expansion via MicroSD up to 32 GB.
- Rear Camera: VGA with LED Flash.
- Connectivity: dual SIM version, GSM 900/1800 band and Bluetooth 3.0.
- Ports: Headphone jack and charging USB.
- Battery: 1,200 mAh and is removable.
- Operating system: Nokia Series 30+.
A very basic mobile phone that focuses its attention on the double front speaker, and on the possibility of using headphones or a cable or wireless. Also, another detail, if we add a 32 GB MicroSD card that is quite cheap on Amazon, we get quite a few playlists, since the songs take up quite little space and less in MP3 format.
Another attraction for the most nostalgic is the FM Radio that also allows cable connection through the Jack and wirelessly.
The battery, given how basic the terminal is, should not pose any problem to last up to several days. Also, the battery is removable. Regarding the dimensions of the terminal, it is known that they are: 123.7 mm x 52 mm x 13.1 mm and a weight of 88.2 grams.
As we said, here we go back almost 15 years and say goodbye to touch screens and back to touch keyboards. Here, the Nokia 5310 that the company has presented just a few minutes ago, almost perfectly portrays the mythical front design of the classic XpressMusic.
On the sides, and in red, we have the famous buttons for play, pause, skip ahead, go back, etc.
Continuing with the design, there are physical changes at the rear, but not big ones. The design of this new 5310 has simply been adapted to the conceptual line of the new Nokia that has been presented this afternoon, among which are the Nokia 8.3, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and the Nokia 5310.
Nokia 5310, price and availability
This new mobile that joins the Nokia catalog reaches the market at the end of this month of March at a quite acceptable price if we want to have it as a secondary mobile, since it will cost 39 euros.
We return to the past, and we do it hand in hand with Nokia. In addition, there will be two colors, either black with red accents, or white with red accents.
