Instagram would be testing messages that self-destruct. After reading them and leaving the conversation, the messages would disappear completely. This is a function that is also being tested on other social networks such as WhatsApp.
That messages self-destruct can be something interesting if after finishing a conversation, we don't want any trace of it to remain That's why, Instagram would be working on a way through which we could make messages self-destruct.
Jane Manchung Wong is a well-known leaker, who has published through her Twitter account the new way in which the messages of the conversation would self-destruct. It would be a special mode and separate from direct messages of Instagram in which when leaving it, all the information would disappearfound inside.

Wong has commented that Instagram itself has admitted that it is a function which is in a very early phase of its development, so we probably have to wait for it to become a reality.

As shown in the video, we should access a new section integrated into Instagram direct messages, so that we would be offered the possibility of choosing between conventional conversations through Instagram direct messages, or on the contrary, the possibility ofenter a mode where messages that would have a different interface would self-destruct.
Apparently, Facebook, which owns both Instagram and WhatsApp, is working to include self-destructing messages on both platforms, although in the case of WhatsApp the approach was different from this new mode of Instagram messages.
We will see how and when these types of messages arrive on Instagram, although according to what the source offers, we will probably have to wait a long timeto be able to enjoy this new function.
What do you think of the new Instagram? Is this useful to you?
