Minecraft is a title that has made history in the world of video games. In recent updates, Mojang's game would have included more supported languages such as Andalusian.
A multitude of languages are spoken around the world because in most countries, in addition to the official language of the territory, they also it is possible that there are other languages specific to a specific geographical location. For example, in Spain Spanish is spoken although in some areas they have an additional language such as Catalonia where Catalan is spoken, Galician in Galicia, Basque in the Basque Country…
In addition to the recognized languages which have their own linguistic institutions, there are variations of Spanish itself depending on the area where we are we find called dialects. Andalusia is one of the largest regions of Spain and is located in the lower part of Spain.
In Andalusia, as in Aragon among other geographical areas, the population makes adaptations of Spanish where the dialects arise. Well, with the arrival of the latest updates, Minecraft has included Andalusian as a language from Andalusia
To put Andalusian as a language in Minecraft, we must follow the following steps:
- Open Minecraft.
- Click on the “ Options” button located at the bottom left.
- Select language "

- Choose “ Andalúh (Andalusia)”

- By clicking on the button “ Ready” we will start the game again in the selected language.
As we can see, the process is really simple, although Andalusian is just one example of the new languages available in the game. In the UK, where English is spoken, we now have the ability to put “Shakespearean English” which translates to Shakespearean English.
The transcription and inclusion in the game has been developed by AndaluhGeeks, a group of Andalusian computer scientists who decided to transcribing and adapting Andalusian to the Minecraft world.
The truth is that these types of inclusions call attention in Minecraft, and it is likely that more and more languages of this type will be added to the famous block game.
What do you think of inclusion? Did you know that Andalusian was available in Minecraft?
