Acer has just introduced two new gaming laptops, the Predator Triton 500 and Nitro 5taking advantage of the launch of the new generation of Intel processors.
Acer is a really well-known firm in the world of laptops. Now it has presented two new gaming laptops on the occasion of the renewal of Intel processors that bring many surprises.
Acer Nitro 5, a "beast" at a contained price

Let's start with the laptop with more moderate specifications within which are the two new laptops.
The new Acer Nitro 5 features a 15.6-inch FHD displaybuilt with IPS technology and with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz that will make the experience really good with a response time of 3 ms.
In terms of hardware, Acer's new equipment has a 10th generation i7 processor at 5 GHz accompanied by32 GB DDR4 RAM expandable. As for internal storage, the Acer Nitro 5 incorporates two PCIe SSD storage units and a 1 TB HDD hard drive.
At the graphic level, the Acer Nitro 5 has a multitude of graphics card configurations such as the Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060, the latest GTX 1650 or 1650 Ti.
As far as connectivity is concerned, it would have a network card compatible with WiFi 6 technology, which would ensure a delay minimum still connected via WiFi connection.

The cooling in the Acer Nitro 5 would be offered by a double fan that takes advantage of the intake and exhaust ports, in addition to the grilles that the team itself says would make it 25% more efficient.
Acer Predator Triton 500, the true laptop for gamers

The Predator range is one of the best known within the firm Acer because it is the one that usually has the most powerful hardware.
The Acer Predator Triton 500 features a 15.6-inch FHD displaybuilt with IPS technology and a refresh rate of up to 300 Hz with a response time of less than 3 ms and compatible with Nvidia GSync technology which further improves panel response. The panel occupies 81% of the front.
In terms of hardware, and as expected in this range, Acer has included 10th generation Intel processors in the different versions. These processors are accompanied by 32 GB of expandable DDR4 RAM and up to 2 TB of NVMe memory, RAID or SSD that will depend, like its processor and graphics, on the version we choose.
As we have mentioned, the Acer Predator Triton 500 has a multitude of versions so that we can choose the version that best suits us. As far as the graphics card is concerned, the Acer Predator Triton 500 has the possibility to choose between two graphics such as the RTX 2080 Super or the RTX 2070 Super
As we can imagine, any of them will be more than valid for playing a multitude of games that require a lot of resources. Like the Acer Nitro 5, the Acer Predator Triton 500 also features a network card with WiFi 6 technology, but in this case the Ax1650i model. The Predator Triton 500 promises a autonomy of up to 7.5 hours.

The cooling system incorporated in the Acer Predator Triton 500 is called “Vortex Flow” This technology consists of a series of custom-made fans to increase airflow by up to 45% inside the computer. It is a fully customizable section through software called “Predator Sense”.
Although gaming laptops aren't really known for their portability, in this case the Acer Predator Triton 500 has a weight of 2.1 kg and a thickness of 17.9 mm.

Both the Acer Nitro 5 and Acer Predator Triton 500 will be available in May at different prices:
- Acer Nitro 5: from 899 euros, although depending on the version we choose the price will be higher.
- Acer Predator Triton 500: from 1,899 euros, the price will vary depending on the version we choose.
