As usual, with the arrival of a new update to Windows 10 some users see how they encounter problems when installing it. It's a small number, but that doesn't make the problem any less annoying for them. Specifically, it appears that Windows 10 update KB3176493 fails to install in certain cases.
When last month's update for Windows 10 came out some of our readers already detected problems, and with this KB3176493 it seems that the errors are repeated. Specifically, the failure seems to occur with Windows 10 1511, that is, the November 2016 update. We don't know if the original July 2015 release (10240) or the recent Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1607) suffer from similar issues, but we fear so.
The symptoms are the usual ones in these cases: in the middle of the installation an error says "cannot install, undoing changes", which ends up bringing us back to the desktop. Most seriously, some users get into a cycle of failed installations of the KB3176493 update, forcing them to waste a lot of time every time they turn on their PC.

As is common in these cases, there is no solution to install the KB3176493 update correctly in Windows 10 Although the problem affects a small number of users, the lack of official help is a problem for these people. Hopefully with Windows 10 Anniversary Update the situation will improve, although we have already seen that this version also suffers from bugs.
Also, in 2017 there are two big updates to Windows 10 ahead of us, so we can only hope that the bugs are fixed. This issue has been around for a long time, but it hasn't been completely fixed, so Microsoft should give priority to these problems, which don't affect many, but are very annoying.
What has been your experience with the KB3176493 update? Has your Windows 10 installed without problems, or have you experienced some unexpected error?
