The Spanish company bq has recently presented a new tablet and it is the bq Tesla W8, the first bq tablet with Windows 8.
Technical characteristics of the bq Tesla W8
The bq Tesla W8 has a 10.1-inch IPS technology screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It has a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees.
Equips an Intel Atom Z2760 processor until it runs at a frequency of 1.8 Ghz. It is accompanied by a 2Gb RAM memory and has an internal storage of 32 Gb.
This storage is divided between 20 Gb occupied by the operating system and Office and 12 Gb free for user files.
It also has a 2 megapixel front camera. As connectivity we find that it has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
It also has a 6,200 mAh battery, USB OTG port, microSD card slot and audio jack output.
Of course we could not miss the operating system Windows 8 and the office suite Office 2013 Home and Student.
Price and availability
The bq Tesla W8 is available for purchase from the bq online store, which is where they usually put their products on sale first.
The price is 329.90 euros and it thus becomes one of the cheapest tablets on the market with this operating system, more having Note that this is Windows 8 and not Windows RT.
