New changes on your next phone bill. If you have contracted a mobile rate with Movistar you will find new concepts that will charge you. The company is informing its customers that Movistar Fusión will charge excess data at mobile rates.
Fortunately there is an easy way to avoid this, which we will talk about later, but you should know that you may be surprised by your mobile rate if you use more data than you currently have.
1.5 cents per mega
The fee that Movistar will charge is 1.5 cents per mega spent in excess up to 1 GB, although this limit can be modified by yourself at any time to avoid precisely this type of charges on the invoice.
This measure will be effective as of May 18, 2016, that is, within just 2 months. Therefore, we recommend that you have control over data spending because if you get too confused you will find yourself with this additional cost of your Movistar Fusión contract.
As we already mentioned, it is possible to ask Movistar not to charge us for the excess data spent after finishing your data rate. As simple as a phone call to 223528 and setting this concept of more megabytes to 0 euros.
If you do this you will be able to continue consuming data outside of your rate but without being charged, that is, it will not cost you money if you spend data excessively and it will only slow down your speed.
If for any reason you do not like or are not satisfied with this new measure of Movistar in its Fusion rate, you can terminate the contract with the company at no cost or pen alty before May 18.
