If you have a Huawei smartphone or have recently bought one and want to know when the latest version of Android will arrive, below we will show you a list of Huawei terminals which will update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Don't wait for it this year because it won't arrive in 2016 but it will arrive next year and specifically during the first three months of 2017so it is expected that any of the terminals that will update will have Android Nougat ready between January and March 2017.
Huawei P9 and Mate 8 the first
We have learned that the first terminals to update to Android 7.0 Nougat through the new version of EMUI 5.0, the customization layer from Huawei, they will be the most recent and they are the Huawei P9 and the Mate 8.
In the following weeks Android 7.0 Nougat will arrive on Huawei P9 Plus, Huawei P9 Lite, Huawei Nova and Huawei Nova Plus. At the moment these are the only terminals that are known, although the list could possibly be expanded a little more.

- Huawei P9: will receive Android Nougat in the first three months of 2017.
- Huawei Mate 8: will receive Android Nougat in the first three months of 2017.
- Huawei P9 Plus: will have Android Nougat after updating the first two, with no specific date.
- Huawei P9 Lite: will have Android Nougat after updating the first two, with no specific date.
- Huawei Nova: will have Android Nougat after updating the first two, with no specific date.
- Huawei Nova Plus: will have Android Nougat after updating the first two, with no specific date.
Therefore, if you have any of these terminals you can be sure that in just a few months you will have it fully updated to Android Nougat, the latest android version. It is also very useful information in case you were thinking of buying it and didn't know if it was going to update or not.
As we already mentioned, it is possible that some more terminals may enter this list, although that will have to be seen in the coming weeks and months.
