NVIDIA recently confirmed that it is ending support for graphics cards prior to the GTX 400
Old graphics will have limited support
Although full support is being removed, NVIDIA will not let users with older graphics cards down.

The company has qualified that it will maintain limited support until 2016 which includes bug fixes and driver issues.
List of graphics affected
If you have a graphics card higher than the GTX 400 you can rest easy for now, although if you don't know exactly which graphics cards will be left out of support, here is the list.
