New rumors about the next Xiaomi terminal, or at least one of them, and that is that both the Mi Note 2 and the Mi 5s are pending to be officially presented.
But you know how this goes, by the time they present them we will have already published all their characteristics and possible news, and how could it be otherwise, this time it's up toMy 5s.
Date of presentation
This is not a rumor, it is something that is more than confirmed by Xiaomi with a great photograph whose meaning leaves no doubt, Xiaomi Mi 5s will be presented on September 27 of this year.
What we still don't know is if something else will be presented at this event, be it the Mi Note 2 or some new device from the company, which, as you already know, does not lack variety in its catalogue.
Mi 5s Leaked Features
Based on rumors and possible leaks, we can assume that the Mi 5s will be based on its predecessor model, the Mi 5, integrating the new Snapdragon 821(slightly more powerful than the 820), a dual camera like the one we've already seen in the Redmi Pro, and finally, a RAM that at first pointed to 6GB, but according to the latest rumors it could even reach at 8GB
This decision would come to improve OnePlus' commitment with its OnePlus 3 and 6GB of RAM, thus placing the Mi 5s as a terminal with a great future ahead and, surely, positioning it at the top of the Android smartphones.
This 8GB LPDDR4 model would be reserved for the option of 256GB of storage, a capacity that seems to be starting to invade the market of smartphones this year, and that would be the top of the range of this new product, possibly accompanied by a Mi 5s with 128GB and 6GB of RAM.
Xiaomi would also be thinking of including a pressure-sensitive screen, as Apple and Meizu have done with their terminals, and the numerous rumors dance between a QHD or FullHD resolution, something that we will soon find out.
Last but certainly not least, there is talk of a possible replacement of the Home button with a touch button instead of physical, something similar to what Apple has done with the iPhone 7, and according to all the rumors, the new Mi 5s would use the latest technology from Qualcomm in biometrics, the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a technology that would allow rapid fingerprint identification through the glass.
