A couple of days ago the news leaked that Xiaomi would be preparing a new laptop with a design very similar to Apple's MacBooks. We didn't have much more information until today when the technical characteristics of Xiaomi's 12.5-inch laptop have been leaked.
For now it seems that there will be two models well differentiated in terms of screen size, one of 12, 5 inches with somewhat more basic specifications than the other and thinking above all to take it anywhere.
The other version would have a 15, 6-inch screen and would integrate more powerful hardware in order to be able to offer a computer portable to work with things that require more power.
Powerful hardware for a small laptop
The data that has been known corresponds to the smallest computer and at first glance they look very good. So it looks like the 12.5-inch laptop would feature 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
It would bring an Intel Core i7-6500U processor, especially suitable for this specific type of very small computers. Its RAM memory would be 8 GB and as integrated graphics there would be an Intel HD 520, quite common in laptops and that looks pretty good a priori.
It would have a USB Type C port, which would serve as a port for charging the laptop, although it is unknown if it could also be used as a Normal USB to connect removable devices such as flash drives, external hard drives, etc. The operating system Windows 10 64-bit would not be missing.
In view of the leaked specifications of this 12.5-inch pc from Xiaomi, this is a good computer despite how small it will be We will have to see finally what price it will have, but if Xiaomi manages to launch it with a competitive price, we are sure that more than one will keep an eye on it.
