The Mobile World Congress (or MWC) is the fair that brings together the mobile industry every year in Barcelona. The Huawei Watch 2 will be presented this Sunday, February 26, at the previous conference that the brand will hold, but we already know many details, including its design. This smartwatch will have a version with 4G connectivity, as demonstrated by the tray for a SIM card that appears in the leaked images. Therefore, we will not depend on Wi-Fi or taking our phone with us.
When we introduced you to the original Huawei Watch, we noted that it looked very elegant, largely thanks to the use of premium materials. However, with the Huawei Watch 2, a more sporty design is chosen, suitable for day-to-day life, which is clearly distinguished from the previous model, especially if we opt for the orange or gray versions with dots.
The Huawei Watch 2 will use the new Android War 2.0, which was recently introduced alongside the LG Watch and Watch Sport. It makes sense to launch this new smartwatch after the operating system update, since it offers different improvements to get more out of it. Details such as the resolution of the screen, the processor or the amount of RAM memory have not been leaked, but they are aspects that do not make a big difference in smart watches today.
The truth is that the filtered images of the Huawei Watch 2 show that it has focused on another user profile. Instead of the formal style of the previous model, now its sportier appearance makes it more suitable for the average user.
