A new Xiaomi mobile arrives in the Redmi catalog, in this case we have the "Lite" version of the famous Note 9 and Note 9 Pro, called Redmi Note 9S. A complete mobile, with 4 cameras, 5,000 mAh battery, Android 10, Snapdragon 720G, etc.
In addition, the design of this terminal is quite careful, at least from what we have been able to see in the presentation and in the photographs. We will have to wait for it to arrive in Spain and test it in a review to give final conclusions.
Continuing with the Redmi Note 9S, we are going to review its technical specifications that we already anticipated that they seem little like a Lite version.
Redmi Note 9S Specifications

A complete mobile where there are any that maintains the headphone jack and that allows you to expand the internal storage up to 512 GB thanks to the inclusion of MicroSD cards.
The Redmi Note 9S is splash-proof, so avoid submerging it in water.
The screen of the Redmi Note 9S has a 91% screen ratio, that is, it barely has borders and at having your front camera embedded, gains screen %.
Continuing with the screen, we have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that protects it against scratches, HDR 10 and protection against blue light.
The colors in which the Redmi Note 9S will reach our market will be, Glacier White, Aurora Blue and Interstellar Grey.
Regarding its design, they communicate from Xiaomi, which is symmetrical, something that is appreciated to the eye and substantially improves the presence physical terminal.
The thickness of this terminal is 8.8 mm, and it is surprising to have a 5,020 mAh battery that, from the brand, they promise 2 days of battery.
Regarding the operating system of the new Redmi family terminal, we will have Android 10 with the MIUI 11 customization layer.
The fingerprint reader on the side is something that we have already seen in other competing models such as Huawei, and it is a way easy to reduce costs, since putting it on the screen is a technology that increases the final price.
It should be remembered that Redmi and Xiaomi are the same, but they release independent phones, since Redmi is a secondary brand of Xiaomi.
Redmi Note 9S, price and availability
The new Xiaomi mobile arrives on the market with a price that is very surprising. At the moment we can only report the official price in dollars, since it has not yet been released in euros:
- 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM: $199.
- 6 GB RAM + 128 ROM: $239.
These prices are part of a promotion, outside of pre-sale, they would cost $249 and $279 respectively.
