Huawei Y5P and Y6P: new filtered low-medium range

Huawei continues to develop new smartphones and possibly the next ones would be the Huawei Y5P and Y6P, low and mid-range phones with long-lasting batteries and other interesting details, in addition to the absence of Google services.

These terminals would come to compete in the input and medium range with other terminals with attractive technical characteristics for the step in which they would find, to which they would be accompanied by a design quite premium despite being fairly cheap phones.

It was Sudhanshu, a Twitter user, who revealed the design, the colors and also some of the technical details more Important of these devices, although it must be taken into account that they are renders, but it is possible that the design is similar or practically the same.

On the one hand, we would have the Huawei Y5P which would be the most basic phone of the 2 and on the other hand we find the Huawei Y6P, a mobile phone with more advanced technical features that could well find a place in the mid-range of smartphones on the market when it comes out.

Huawei Y5P, technical specifications

Let's go with the Huawei Y5P, whose technical specifications leaked indicate that this terminal would have the following:

1. Screen: 5.45-inch with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels.
2. Processor: MediaTek Helio P22.
3. RAM memory: 2 GB.
4. Internal storage: 32 GB expandable via microSD.
5. Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
6. Battery: 3,020 mAh with 10W fast charging.

This terminal should highlight its battery with fast charging despite being a low range and the inclusion of a double slot for SIM cards, in addition to the presence of a microUSB port and the Android 10 operating system with the EMUI 10.1 layer without Google services, something that we have already seen with the presentation of other mobiles, such as the Nova 7 and 7 Pro.

With regard to the design, mention should be made of the presence on the back of a square camera module with two lenses whose resolution is still unknown and a screen without a notch and with many edges. What seems clear through the images is that a 3.5 mm headphone jack would not be missing either.

The price is not known, but it would be expected that it would not be too high. It would be available in blue, black and green, a chromatic range with fairly soft tones and not at all strident.

Huawei Y6P, technical characteristics

Raising a bit of a level, we would have the Huawei Y6P with more powerful technical characteristics and attractive than those of the Huawei Y5P, would be the following if the filtration is fulfilled:

1. Screen: 6.3-inch with FHD+ resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels.
2. Processor: MediaTek Helio P22.
3. RAM Memory: 3 GB.
4. Internal storage: 64 GB expandable via microSD.
5. Rear camera: 13 + 5 + 2 megapixels.
6. Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
7. Battery: 5,000 mAh.

Like the Huawei Y5P, this mobile would bring the same processor, but in return it would have a higher RAM and storage configuration, in addition to a triple main camera and a higher capacity battery, without knowing yet if it will have fast charging or not.

It would not be missing Android 10 with the EMUI 10.1 customization layer, but without Google services. The design would change with respect to the other phone, on the front we would find a screen with a small notch, while the back would feature the camera module in vertical format and a fingerprint reader.

The price is unknown, although in terms of colors, the leak shows that this Huawei Y6P could be purchased in black, green and purple, the latter in a metallic tone that give it a more premium look.
