Alienware is Dell's sub-brand geared towards the most enthusiastic gamers, and today updates its laptops and gaming desktops for this 2020 following its principles: a lot of power, extravagant designs and prices according to the high-end hardware they mount.
With the arrival of the 10th generation Intel Core manufacturers update their PCs, and we have already seen striking proposals such as the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15, with double screen optimized for gaming.
The new Dell Alienware offers various models of laptops and desktops, in addition to presenting a gaming monitor, all of them with LED lighting and the futuristic finishes that characterize them.
Alienware Area-51m R3

Dell promotes the Alienware Area-51m R3 as a "desktop in disguise", which very well defines this laptop that stands out for its power, but not for its lightness. It mounts Intel Core S processors with 10 cores and 5.3 GHz, which are typically used in desktop PCs.
The graphics goes up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of SSD storage. Both the graphics card and the processor can be replaced by the user, surprising in a "laptop".
We are not talking about a lightweight device, with its 17.3-inch screen, weight from 3.8 kg and thickness 4.3 cm in the highest area. The price will start at 3,049 dollars, without confirming the figure in euros for Spain.
Alienware m15 R3 and m17 R3

These 15 and 17-inch models do seek a lightweight design, with 10th generation Intel Core H mobile chips to which we can overclock. The graphics go up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-P for those looking for maximum performance.
An optimized coolinghas been created, and will be sold in a variety of processor, RAM, and storage configurations. Unfortunately, they do not have a date or price for Spain at the moment.
Dell G3 15 and G5 15

No longer using the Alienware brand, the renewed Dell G3 15 and G5 15 are an option more designed for the average user. They feature a 15-inch display, with 144Hz and 300Hz options for fluid gameplay.
At the hardware level, they integrate the new 10th generation Intel Core H processors and Nvidia graphics. Dell does not offer AMD-based options, despite the chipmaker becoming more and more competitive.
The new Dell G3 and G5 will ship from May 21, 2020, with configurations starting at $779.99, dates and prices for Spain have not yet been disclosed.
Alienware Aurora R11

The new desktop Alienware Aurora improves above all in its cooling, which according to Dell can lower the temperature by 19.5% thanks to the use of liquid cooling.
The striking design with curves and LEDs has been preserved, which has an Nvidia graphic inside GeForce RTX 2080 Super. Dell is targeting the eSports segment with this desktop, but it really packs power for any current game.
In addition, the noise level has decreased by 69%. They are not changes of the same depth as in laptops, but it is always good to improve small details.
Alienware 25 360Hz

Lastly, Dell is introducing the Alienware 25 360Hz monitor, though it won't launch until late 2020. It will mount a 24.5-inch IPS panel with a 360 Hz refresh rate, which ensures great fluidity in competitive online games.
Synchronization will be based on Nvidia G-Sync, and it will take a very powerful computer to take advantage of it, since reaching 360 frames per second in current titles is not easy.
Overall, the Alienware range for 2020 is attractive, as almost always from this gaming-oriented manufacturer. Another issue is the prices, which have not yet been confirmed in Spain, but in general we are talking about very expensive and powerful equipment, for those who take video games seriously.
