Among the new product catalog presented today by Honor, we find the Honor Router 3, arouter that offers the new WiFi 6 technology and provides great speeds in wireless browsing and with a very economical price that we will give later.
This is the company's first router to equip this technology thanks to a WiFi 6+ chip that can offer speeds of up to 3,000 Mbpsin the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. Also, its heart is presided over by a 1.2 GHz 2-core Gigahome processor.
This gives you very power consumption, while also offering higher bandwidth. In addition, it equips a technology called “ODFMA” where the devices are connected directly to have greater stability and lower latency.
It is accompanied by a RAM memory amounting to 128 MB which, although it may seem a very small amount, for a router like the Honor Router 3 is more than enough to handle all the options it has.
As for the design, it makes use of 4 antennas with a gain of 5 dbi. It is possible to control the router thanks to the Huawei Smart Life application, from where you can easily manage different parameters on a mobile or tablet (bandwidth limit, parental control, etc.).
The number of ports it has has not been disclosed, but it surely has at least 4 high-speed Gigabit Ethernet inputs. Of course, there is also a power connector to plug it into the wall socket.
There is no shortage of functions such as DMZ, WPA3 and others that we find in other routers. Regarding the price, you should know that the Honor Router 3 is on sale for a price of 219 RMB, which is approximately €28. It will arrive in Spain in July of this year.
