The new Realme Smart TV is the manufacturer's first television, which expands its product range beyond smartphones, in this case with a TV that offers smart features at an affordable price.
The Realme Smart TV has been presented in India, and it is a fairly simple product, which if it reaches Spain it will be within the most basic range. There is a 32-inch model with HD resolution and a 43-inch model with FHD resolution, leaving 4K aside.
It is a panel that achieves up to 400 nits of brightness and offers some wide viewing angles of 178º, managed by the so-called Chroma Boost Picture Engine, which improves image quality.
This is a possible rival for the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S, specifically for entry-level models, such as the Mi TV 4A, for users looking for good value for money.
Realme Smart TVs are smart, as their name suggests, and include Android TV as an operating system. That means access to the Play Store, Chromecast built-in and the presence of Google Assistant, which we can control using the included remote control.
We will also enjoy the usual apps on smart TVs, such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video or HBO. For Internet connectivity WiFi is supported (2.4 GHz only), an Ethernet port is included and we also have Bluetooth.

Realme Smart TV, technical sheet
Taking a look at the specifications of the Realme Smart TV we see a television that meets the requirements for day-to-day use, but without excesses that raise its price. These are the details:
- Display: 32-inch HD (1366 x 768p) or 43-inch FHD (1920 x 1080p).
- Panel: Up to 400 nits of brightness, 178º viewing angles.
- Processor: 4-core ARM Cortex A53 (Mali-470 MP3 graphics).
- Memory: 1 GB RAM + 8 GB storage.
- Sound: 24 W power (4 speakers) with Dolby Audio.
- Connectivity: 2.4 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth and Ethernet port.
- Ports: 3 x HDMI, 2 x USB and SPDIF audio out.
- Operating system: Android TV with Chromecast built-in and Google Assistant.
Regarding sound, the Realme Smart TV includes 4 speakers (2 full-range and 2 for treble) for a total of 24 watts of power. They use Dolby Audio technology to optimize sound.
In addition to the integrated speakers, the Realme 100W Soundbar will be offered as an additional accessory, a sound bar with subwoofer.

Realme Smart TV, price and availability
Realme's new TV is launched in India, and we don't know if it will reach other markets. Regarding prices, we can get an idea by converting the currencies, although if they arrive in Spain they will surely change:
- 32 inches for 12,999 rupees (about 157 euros to change).
- 43 inches for 21,999 rupees (about 266 euros to change).
The arrival of Realme Smart TV in Spain is not clear, and normally brands take time to adapt these products to all markets. For example, we recently got to know the Honor Vision X1 Series television, which was announced for the international market, but does not have a launch date in Spain.
It is logical for Realme to enter this segment with affordable models, since the high-end would compete with rivals such as the 2020 LG OLED, which can cost thousands of euros.
The new Realme Smart TV is an interesting value for money proposal, but we will have to see if it reaches more countries, and what prices does it do, to assess it properly.
