They are two quite similar terminals, but with certain differences, not only in the technical section, but also in the aesthetic one, which we are going to tell you about right now.
Redmi Note 9
The Redmi Note 9 is a smartphone with a renewed design compared to the previous generation.
In its rear part we have a rectangular module where the fingerprint reader and the rear cameras have been included, distributed vertically two by two.
On the front, the screen dominates, occupying 83.5%, except for the hole in the upper left for the front camera. The screen is 6.53 inches with Full HD+ resolution, a 19.5:9 ratio with a density of 395 pixels per inch.
It is a terminal with dimensions of 162.3 x 77.2 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 199 grams. The thickness may be more than expected, but having a 5,020 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, it is perfectly understandable.
The Redmi Note 9 is moved by the MediaTek Helio G85 along with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage internal that can be expanded up to 512 GB via microSD card.
How could it be otherwise we have Android 10 as the operating system, along with Xiaomi's own personalization layer called MIUI.
Regarding connectivity, there is no significant absence, since it is a Dual 4G LTE terminal with WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, infrared sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB type C, fingerprint sensor on the back of the terminal, facial sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and compass.
In the photographic section we have 4 rear sensors and one front:

Redmi Note 9 Pro
The second version presented is the Redmi Note 9 Pro, whose differences with respect to the "normal" Note 9 are more of specifications, although it also has some aesthetics.
Aesthetically it differs in two well-marked details. In the case of the Redmi Note 9, the hole for the front camera is in the center and not on the side. In addition, we note that the rectangular module on the back is now more square, since the fingerprint sensor is no longer there, which is now placed on one of the sides of the phone.
The dimensions of the Redmi Note 9 Pro are 165.8 x 76.7 x 8.8 mm with a weight of 209 grams.
The screen goes up to 6, 67 inches, with Full HD resolution+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), screen ratio 20: 9 with a screen density of 395 pixels per inch.
As for the processor, Redmi has decided that the Pro mounts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G along with 6 GB of RAM memory and two possibilities 64 or 128 GB storage, expandable in both cases via microSD card up to 512 GB.
The operating system is Android 10 together with MIUI.
