Honor, Huawei's sub-brand, would be close to presenting a new terminal. In this case, it would be the Honor Play 4, a new terminal about which little is known to date, but that would have of the possibility of measuring our body temperature.
The coronavirus pandemic is slowly receding globally. Many users have the need to measure their body temperature periodically due to the pandemic and, although we already know if our mobile can measure body temperature, let's see what's new with this Honor Play 4.
Although it was possible to measure the temperature on certain phones thanks to the IR sensor with which we can turn televisions, air conditioners, fans on and off … the data we can get is quite inaccurate.
Infrared sensors are sensors whose purpose is not to measure body temperature, therefore, the accuracy of these sensors would be much lower which we could get using a thermometer.
In this case, the new Honor Play 4 would have an IR sensor and would have the possibility of measuring our body temperature, at least in this way it is shown in some other promotional poster.

For the moment, it would be a terminal that would only go to the Asian market. It is also not known if the IR sensor that integrates, would have some kind of difference or special characteristicof the one we could find in the rest of the terminals.
As we say, probably the IR sensor would not be a highly accurate sensor so that we could trust the result What we can make it clear, is that many users are already concerned about having the possibility of measuring body temperature, so it is possible that measuring body temperature becomes a new functionality in certain gadgets.
The future is always uncertain and more in the world of telephony, but it is possible that more manufacturers begin to incorporate a lot of sensors and gadgets by which to perform any action, including measuring the temperature. What is possible for the future is that if the IR sensor that the new Honor Play 4 has works correctly, let's see it integrated in more terminals during this year.
