After years of waiting, it is already possible to use Snapchat on your computer after the last update of the social network. They have created a new interface called Snapchat Web to connect from any desktop browser, making it easy to use from PC or Mac.
Through the address of web.snapchat.com you can use almost all Snapchat functions. Sending new snaps will not be supported at first, but continuing ongoing conversations with the comfort of a big screen is supported.
One functionality that we will receive shortly will be the lenses (filters) in video calls. Since it's already possible to use Snapchat filters on desktop via Snap Camera, it shouldn't take too long to get used to.

Another interesting novelty is the privacy mode, which hides the content of the window every time we switch to another task on the computer. If we use Snapchat on a computer at work or school, it's a pretty practical idea.
Conversations are synced between Snapchat Web and the mobile app, logging in on a PC or Mac browser requires only the Username and password. Therefore, the jump from desktop to mobile should be simple and fast, as long as we use Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Apple's Safari browsers.
Unlike WhatsApp Web, the interface of Snapchat on computers has been taken care of, with 3D models, reactions and a design that respects the original style of the social network.

The bad news is that Snapchat Web is launching only in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, in a first time exclusively for Snapchat+ subscribers.
We do not know when we will have this possibility in Spain and Latin America, nor when it will reach standard users, luckily it has been confirmed that it will expand gradually.
In any case, the arrival of Snapchat Web is great news, even if it is late. Perhaps if we got it sooner, his war against Instagram would have had a different outcome, and Snapchat would be more popular than it is today.
